At Bryant Smith Fishing, we take your privacy seriously. This Privacy Policy describes how your personal information is collected, used, and shared when you visit or submit a form on bryantsmithfishing.com.

Information We Collect

All forms on this Site — including guide trip booking requests, Contact page inquiries, and newsletter sign-ups — are submitted directly to GoHighLevel/LeadConnector, a third-party CRM, through a subaccount operated by Texas Growth Factory (the agency that designed and maintains this Site) — see "Third-Party Services" below for details. What each form collects differs:

  • Guide trip booking requests collect your name, email address, phone number, requested service and add-ons, preferred date and time, any details you provide in your message, and your acknowledgment of the liability waiver described in our Terms & Conditions and Disclaimer.
  • Fan, sponsorship, and general contact inquiries (the Contact page form) collect your name, email address, phone number, the inquiry category you select, and your message.
  • Newsletter sign-ups ("One Hungry Angler") collect your email address only.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to respond to guide trip inquiries, sponsorship requests, and fan messages, and to send newsletter updates to subscribers who explicitly sign up. We also use this information to communicate with you and to screen our interactions for potential risk or fraud.

Marketing Communications

Newsletter sign-ups are collected through LeadConnector, a marketing and customer-relationship-management platform, which may be used to send newsletter or promotional emails to subscribers. Every marketing email we send will include a working unsubscribe link and our physical mailing information, in line with the CAN-SPAM Act. We do not send marketing text messages or use your phone number for SMS/text marketing; phone numbers collected through the guide trip booking form are used solely to coordinate trip logistics.

Payment Information

This Site does not process online payments and does not collect any payment or financial information (such as credit card numbers) through any form. Guide trip deposits and payments, when applicable, are arranged directly between you and Bryant Smith Fishing off of this website (for example, by phone or email).

How We Store Your Information

Guide trip booking requests, Contact page inquiries, and newsletter sign-ups do not pass through or get stored on this Site's own servers or in a database that we manage at all — they go directly to LeadConnector, as described under "Third-Party Services" below.

Third-Party Services

We use GoHighLevel/LeadConnector (a form and customer-relationship-management platform operated by HighLevel, Inc.) to power the embedded guide trip booking form, Contact page form, and newsletter sign-up form on this Site, through a subaccount operated by Texas Growth Factory, the agency that designed and maintains this Site. When you submit any of these forms, the information you enter — including, where applicable, your name, email address, phone number, service or inquiry-category selection, message, and, for guide trip bookings, your preferred date and time, add-ons, and acknowledgment of the liability waiver — is sent directly to and stored by LeadConnector; it does not pass through or get stored on this Site's own servers. Both Bryant Smith Fishing and Texas Growth Factory, as the administrator of that LeadConnector subaccount, have access to submissions made through any of these forms. LeadConnector's embedded-form script may also use cookies or similar technologies to operate the forms; the newsletter sign-up form requests your consent to this before you submit it. This Site loads fonts from Google Fonts, which may receive your device's IP address when those fonts are requested.

We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4), provided by Google LLC, to measure page views and understand how visitors use this Site. Our GA4 measurement ID is G-4GCXNFLEVL. GA4 may process technical information such as your IP address, approximate location, device and browser details, referring page, pages viewed, and interactions. It may use first-party cookies and similar browser or device identifiers, including cookies such as _ga and _ga_<container-id>, to distinguish browsers and sessions. We configure GA4 to measure page views as visitors move between pages; we do not use GA4 to collect the contents of form submissions or intentionally identify you by name.

Analytics data is retained in Google Analytics according to the event-data retention setting configured for our Analytics property and Google's applicable policies. That setting is managed in Google Analytics rather than in this Site's code, and this Site does not independently store a copy of GA4 event data. For more information, see Google's Privacy Policy.

You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings and use browser features that block cookies. You can also use Google's Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on. This Site does not currently provide a separate cookie-consent banner or preference tool; if one becomes available, you may use it to manage analytics preferences. Blocking or deleting cookies may affect Site functionality and may not prevent all measurement.

Children's Privacy

This Site is not directed at children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have inadvertently collected such information, we will take steps to delete it.

Sharing Your Personal Information

We do not share, sell, or trade your personal information with third parties for their own marketing purposes. As described above, Texas Growth Factory has access to guide trip booking, Contact page, and newsletter sign-up submissions solely as the administrator of the LeadConnector subaccount that powers those forms, in order to help us manage and respond to them. We may also share your Personal Information to comply with applicable laws and regulations, to respond to a subpoena, search warrant or other lawful request for information we receive, or to otherwise protect our rights.
